What is a Rookie? A Rookie is a Convention Attendee, over the age of 21, who is attending their first NHLBCC. They must be a member of a Club that belongs to the NHLBC.
How will I know who is a Rookie? A Rookie's name badge will be a different color or have some other indication of Rookie status as determined by the host Club. Rookies are also identified as such in the Convention Program.
Why are they designated a Rookie? The NHLBC Family will take the time to help the rookies and make sure they are welcomed into the family.
Must a Rookie Survive? No. However it is encouraged so they have the chance to interact with more family members and they do need to survive to be eligible for Rookie of the Year.
